As part of The 100 Peaks Legacy the plan is still to reach the £100k target we set in support of ABF The Soldiers' Charity and Support Our Paras when we first set off on the Challenge last May, we are currently close to £40k. This February we will be releasing details about the Legacy Project of The 100 Peaks - 100 Black Sheep. This will be focused around individuals creating targets for themselves and if they want to, help grow The 100 Peaks Pot.

Why does ABF The Soldiers’ Charity exist?

They give a lifetime of support to soldiers and veterans from the British Army, and their immediate families, when they are in need. They make grants to individuals through their Regiments and Corps and support a wide range of specialist charities that sustain the British Army ‘family’, both at home and around the world.

They take pride in being responsive, making a difference at a critical point in peoples’ lives. They have been doing this since 1944, working with veterans of every conflict, and we envisage continuing doing so for the ‘long haul’ – supporting all future generations of our soldiers and their dependants.

SUPPORT OUR PARAS is a charity which supports The Parachute Regiment through the welfare of serving soldiers and families and those affected by recent operations, and through the maintenance of its regimental efficiency, ethos, spirit and heritage.

They  provide welfare assistance to serving soldiers and families to complement or fill the gaps in State provision, as well as supporting vital aspects of the Regiment’s daily life and history.

Your donations make a massive and significant difference to the lives of those that need the help of these two wonderful charities and we can't thank you enough for helping make that difference!
